These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website runtimelabs.fyi and the software products and services offered by Runtime Labs LLC ("Runtime Labs", "we", "us"). By using our website, purchasing a product, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products and services

Runtime Labs develops and sells software applications (for macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone, and the web) and offers paid 1:1 consulting sessions. Some products are sold directly by us; others are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad, Polar, Intro, or the Apple App Store. Where a purchase is completed on a third-party platform, that platform's terms also apply to the transaction.

2. Licenses

When you purchase one of our applications, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on devices you own or control, subject to any per-seat limits stated at the point of purchase. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software.

Products sold as source code (for example, Screen) are licensed for your own use and modification. You may build and use the resulting application yourself, but you may not resell or publicly redistribute the source code. Products released under an open-source license (for example, FINalyzer) are governed by the license included in their repository.

3. Payments

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is due at the time of purchase. One-time purchases do not renew. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

4. Consulting sessions

Consulting sessions are booked and paid through Intro (intro.co). Scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds for sessions follow Intro's policies. Advice given in a session is general guidance based on our experience and is not legal, financial, or professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our products or services for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to circumvent licensing or security features, or to interfere with the operation of our services.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Our products and services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Runtime Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
